Tarryn Chudleigh overcame the wet and wild conditions at Big Bay, Bloubergstrand on Sunday to grab her third consecutive victory in the Pro Junior girls, at the third of five events in the R220 000 Billabong Junior Series, the premier national circuit of events for surfers aged 20 and younger.

Chudleigh has been in a class of her own in the U20 girls this year, winning every event in the series to date, and looks a shoe-in for the invitation to the Billabong ASP World Junior

Championships in Australia in January, that goes to the top-rated girl at the end of the series.
Melkbos local Chantelle Rautenbach made this one a close affair, with 13 year-old Bianca Buitendag (George) taking third spot ahead of Holly Armstrong (Kommetjie), who also took home the R500 and Kustom shoes for the best performance by a local girl.

The Billabong Junior Series now takes a three month break before resuming with the fourth event at Victoria Bay in the Southern Cape in August, after which the series champions are crowned for the 11th consecutive year in Jeffreys Bay in September.
