Team South Africa’s Bronwyn Doeg, Bobbi Brown and Gabbi Venter successfully defended their All Africa Challenge Trophy in Dar Es Salaam Gynkhana Golf Club on Thursday, 8 September 2022.
The top trio completed rounds of 149, 145 and 150 to win by 5 shots to bring the trophy back home for a record 14th time.
Bobbi Brown finished as a runner-up and won the junior honour with rounds of 72, 73 and 76 on the individual challenge.
Gabbi Venter, who is the 2022 Momentum gsport Awards Supersport Schools Sport Star of the Year finalist, gave a spectacular performance to finish 4th with rounds of 77, 72 and 74, meanwhile Bronwyn Doeg made three successive rounds of 78 and a joint 6th place finish in the individual competition.
