Tswelelang De’Scorpion Headline North West Sasol League Action

Tswelelang De’Scorpion display a stellar performance as they showed no thrashing Gopane Ladies 11-1 on Saturday, 14 May 2022.

The 2021 North West Recognition Sports Award Team of the Year went on to record their second win of the campaign at Maquassi stadium to top Stream B.

NWU Tawana also took three points home after they beat newly promoted Mahikeng Ladies 6-0 at Montshioa Artificial Turf.

Mahikeng Ladies President, Sylvester Semaushu said her side played with a very experienced team.

“We were playing with a very much experienced team, that’s been there for years and it’s only our second game of the league, as a newly promoted team. So, I told my girls that this loss doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world, we will do better next time.”

RM Diamond recorded their first win after their loss against Mahikeng Ladies in the first round of fixtures. They went on to defeat Madibe Ladies 2-0 at Motswedi Secondary School in Zeerust.

Elsewhere Rustenburg Ladies secured maximum points with a 3-0 win over bottom of the log side, Keleku.

In Stream A, Florentina and The Bold and the Beautiful came out victorious after they beat Platinum Arsenal FC and Clive United 3-0, respectively.

At Crocodile Mine Ground, Bianca Academy find themselves in third spot beating Young Expandables 5-0.
