Tuks Face TUT Pretoria in USSA Final

The USSA National Football Championship is the country’s premier University football competition for women in South Africa. The competition is in its 18th year.Friday 7 December 2012 marks the last day of the USSA Football National Club Championships and will shortly herald a new holder of the USSA Football National Club Championships for the first time in 5 years, with defending champions the University of Johannesburg knocked out of the tournament 3-1, by Tshwane University of Technology on Thursday.

The University of Pretoria beat the Vaal University of Technology 2-1 to make it an all-Pretoria final.

The 18th Edition of the USSA Football National Club Championships saw the Gauteng ladies teams dominating as they have been in the past four years.

Hosted at the University of the Western Cape, the 2012 USSA Football National Club Championships has once again proved to be the platform for students to enjoy football.
