JVW Girls Football Development recently launched Training Sessions, with their first Open Day held this past Saturday at Modder Sports Complex in Modderfontein.
The first Training Session attracted a great turn out of girls from all over Gauteng, keen on improving their skills.
The Program was launched to provide football-loving girls with extra training, concentrating on all elements of the game.
Current Banyana Banyana Defender and Ekurhuleni Player of the year, Janine Van Wyk founded the Program to give back to girls and share her experiences with them.
“Its really great to see girls showing interest and enjoying the sessions that we provide. I’d just like to say a big thank you to Wilo South Africa for coming on board as a sponsor to our Program.
“Football is my world and I will do anything in my power to allow other girls to achieve their dreams in the sport,” ” said Van Wyk.
As it is the end of the year, JVW Girls Football Development will commence at the beginning of next year with another free Open Day to be held on 13 January.
