Victorious Jessicas Heat up the Pool

Dominique Dryding powers her way to victory in the 15 years category 400 metres freestyle in the Telkom SA National Level 3 Championships, at the Joan Harrison Swimming Pool in East London on Tuesday evening.

Dominique Dryding powers her way to victory in the 15 years category 400 metres freestyle in the Telkom SA National Level 3 Championships, at the Joan Harrison Swimming Pool in East London on Tuesday evening.

SA 200 and 400 metres individual medley record-holder Jessica Pengelly cruised to victory in the ladies 16 years category 400 metres freestyle in 4:20,86, at the Telkom SA National Age Group 3 Championships held at the Joan Harrison Swimming Pool on Tuesday evening.

Pengelly’s namesake, 12-year-old Port Elizabeth-based Jessica Liss, was in a usual class of her own in winning the 12 years 400 metres freestyle in 4:30,46, while Cape Town-based All-Africa Games 800 and 1500 metres bronze medalist Dominique Dryding powered her way to victory in the women’s 15 years category 400 metres freestyle.
