World Sports Betting Western Province Women have been crowned 2023/2024 CSA T20 Challenge Champions after beating Fidelity Titans Women by eight wickets at Supersport Park in Centurion, Gauteng, on Saturday, 6 April, 2024.

Titans batted first and posted 117/8 in their allotted 20 overs, with opening bat Robyn Searle posting the side’s top scorer innings with a run-a-ball 23, while Jemima Botha was the pick of the bowlers for Province with 3/19.

In reply, Botha again stood tall for Province with a brisk match-winning half-century.- 54 from 43 balls with seven fours and one six. 

She got good support from both Babette De Leede (30 from 21 balls) and Saraah Smith (26 from 22 balls) as Province ended on 118/2 to secure an emphatic victory and a well-deserved title. 

Western Province Coach Claire Terblanche wrote in an IG post: “What a T20 season by WPCricket Women’s Team! Dominated with precision!”

“I am proud of this team for what they’ve done, today’s win hit differently and I felt so immensely happy for our players, management and debutants! Well done and well deserved T20 campaign. To my Management, as well as Convenor no words can describe the support and backing you brought to the space.”
