Wits University FC dominated the Gauteng Stream in the Sasol Women’s League action this past weekend when they claimed a comfortable 13-0 victory against bottom of the log Lusaka Ladies FC on Friday.
They now top the log on 46 points, just one point more than Croesus Ladies, who took an emphatic 6-0 win against Luso Africa.
Sunflower WFC remains undefeated in the KwaZulu-Natal Stream A after defeating Darnall fc 6-0. Sunflower maintains their top position with 30 points after 10 wins in 10 matches.
Tottenham Ladies also took an impressive 3-0 win against UKZN Womens FC to trail Sunflower by eight points.
Kovsies FC conceded against Ace Milan 1-0 for the first time in 12 games however they remain number one in the Free State Stream A standings with 33 points.
In Limpopo, Lacoste Morning Stars claimed a dazzling 4-0 triumph against Tshandama Young Stars to top the Limpopo Stream B table on 30 points, with 10 wins in 12 games.
Sisters sit in the number two spot atop Chippas Ladies FC on 25 points respectively on an eight-goal difference.
In the Eastern Cape, the Volcano Ladies were left for dormancy by the City Lads after a 1-3 defeat in the Eastern Cape Coastal Stream to leave them second on the log, three points adrift table-toppers City Lads.
Sasol Juventus FC continued their winning streak in Mpumalanga Stream A after they pinned down the Royal Knights 2-1 to keep their top spot atop the log.
