South Africa’s Zenéy van der Walt raised the country’s flag as she qualified for the 400m semi-final at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest on Sunday, 20 August 2023.
Van der Walt secured third place in the third heat of the day, clocking 51.76.
On Monday evening, van der Walt will feature in Heat 1 as she looks to secure a qualifying time for the final round.
