JVW dropped valuable points when they were held to a goalless draw by UJ Ladies in a tough encounter, leaving former three points ahead of University of Johannesburg (UJ Ladies).

In other matches, Ezemvelo Ladies registered a 1-0 victory against a winless City Lads Ladies, who are also yet to score a goal since the start of the season.

Newcomers Ramatlaohle won the Limpopo Derby as they defeated neighbours First Touch Ladies by the same margin, while the Varsity Derby between UFH and TUT Ladies ended in a goalless stalemate.

In the SuperEra stream, played last weekend, defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were not in action as they were involved in the COSAFA Women’s Cup. The Brazilians lifted the trophy in Botswana and will represent COSAFA in the continental club championship later this year.

In their absence from the Hollywoodbets Super League Amplified festival, Copperbelt Ladies received a bye, but three other matches took place at the Sol Plaatje University in Kimberley, Northern Cape.

TS Galaxy Queens cemented their second-place spot in the SuperEra Stream with a hard-fought 2-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Stellenbosch FC, who are yet to collect any points or goals after six matches played.

The University of the Western Cape (UWC) managed a 1-0 win against new kids on the block Diepkloof Ladies, while Richmond United Ladies and University of Pretoria shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Banyana Ba Style, who have a match in hand and return to local football this week, are two points ahead of TS Galaxy Queens in the SuperEra section.
