With the surf slightly bigger than on Day 1 with a clean long-period swell and offshore winds, the Muizenberg shoreline provided the perfect canvas for Emily Jenkinson to claim the Open Women’s division title of the Tiger’s Milk Winter Classic surf contest in the Western Cape, on Sunday, 1 June, 2025.

As the waves continued to pour in at Muizenberg, Angelica Rosslind won the Open Women’s Longboarding division, with Cara Stubbs in second.

“The standard of surfing throughout the event was top-class,” said Surfing SA GM Reza de Nicker. “All surfers upped the ante and surfed their best in the finals, and big congratulations to all the winners.”
