gsport Goes Global

by | Nov 1, 2019

For the past 13 years, we have championed women’s sport in South Africa and achieved great results. This September, gsport took the bold move to spread its wings and fly.

I got onto a flight and headed to India to fly the flag for South African women’s cricket as the Proteas Women took on India in a T20i and ODI series in Surat and Baroda.

The trip gave gsport a bird’s eye view of how women’s cricket has grown from a South African perspective and how women’s cricket is so passionately supported in India.

While there, I also got the opportunity to interview – – a host of players for both gsport and rising women’s cricket initiative in India, Women’s Criczone.

Here’s a look at the interviews I did for gsport in India:
Mignon du Preez
Nonkululeko Mlaba –
Anneke Bosch –
Lara Goodall –
Tumi Sekhukhune –
Nondumiso Shangase –
Sune Luus –

We are excited about telling the global women’s sport story and encourage women in sport from around the world to register a free membership on and start telling your stories and inspiring the current and next generation.
