The Fidelity Titans will look to build on their winning start to the Hollywoodbets Pro Series when they host Gauteng rivals the DP World Lions in the second round of the 2026/27 campaign at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on Saturday, 10 October 2026.
The two sides meet in the Hollywoodbets Pro50 on Saturday before returning to action in the Hollywoodbets Pro20 on Sunday, 11 October.
The Titans head into the Jukskei derby after commanding wins over the Hollywoodbets Dolphins in both formats last weekend, while the Lions are yet to take the field after rain washed out both their matches against the Warriors at Dafabet St George’s Park in Gqeberha.
Proteas Women captain Laura Wolvaardt starred in both victories, following an unbeaten 123 in the 50-over clash with a 40-ball 69 in Sunday’s Pro20 at the TUT Oval in Tshwane. She shared an opening stand of 114 with Anneke Bosch, who finished unbeaten on 63 as the Titans chased down the Dolphins’ 157/3, built on Alexandra Candler’s 89 not out, with 13 balls to spare.

In Cape Town, Faye Tunnicliffe opened the defending champions’ campaign in style, striking 171 off 131 balls with 19 fours and five sixes in a second-wicket stand of 210 with Nadine de Klerk, who made 101, as the YesPlay Western Province Cobras posted 349/4 to beat the Garden Route Badgers by 65 runs in the Pro50 at the YesPlay Newlands.
The Badgers turned the tables a day later, as Annerie Dercksen’s 28-ball 43 and Kiara Fisher’s two for 26 earned a 12-run Pro20 win, despite three for 14 and 45 runs from Kayla Reyneke.
Wolvaardt expects a stern test from a Lions side featuring several of her international teammates.
“I think Lions are probably one of the strongest sides in the league. They’ve got a lot of really good players. It’ll be like facing a bit of an international bowling attack,” Wolvaardt said.
The 27-year-old was pleased to find runs on her return to domestic cricket.
“I feel like I’ve been searching for a little bit of form the last couple of months. So it was really nice just to be back and just to be able to bat and score some runs and spend some time in the middle.”

The Lions, runners-up in both competitions last season, will look to go one better. Proteas-capped spinner Raisibe Ntozakhe, who claimed 24 wickets across both formats last season, believes they are well prepared.
