Momentum Proteas top order batter Laura Wolvaardt shares insight into the team’s mood and approach as they will face Bangladesh in a must-win ICC Women’s T20 World Cup match on Tuesday, 21 January at 19h00 CAT.
As the South Africans head into the encounter, they will have their eyes set on progressing to the semi-final round of the global showpiece.
Speaking at the official pre-match press conference, Wolvaardt, who earned her 50th T20I cap in the previous match against Australia, said: “Obviously, it is a vital game for us tomorrow, so we are just trying to really stay focused on that and just keep focusing on our processes.
“The last game didn’t go exactly how we would have liked, but we will just stick to our plans and hopefully we can execute them better tomorrow.”
