While Masuku joined the Academy in 2020 as the first TWRA High Performance Program intake Student Athlete all the way from Tzaneen.

Both players are members of the TWRA High Performance Program that focus on elite player development preparing them for national and international competitions.

They are South Africa’s 5th and 6th pro rugby players since Babalwa Latsha opened the international door followed by Kimmico Manuel, Zintle Mpupa and Catha Jacobs.

Speaking on Adams and Masuku’s achievement, Director of Rugby at the Titans Women’s Rugby Academy, Aschin Klein says: “We are excited for them and wish them well. It is always nice to see players excel in the game and breaking barriers and glass ceiling showing the girl child what is possible when you work hard, fight through setback and never give up.”
