No Event too Big for Awards Partner Monster

by | Nov 24, 2013

From a one-man operation into one of South Africa’s premier event and production houses in 10 years, the 2013 SPAR gsport Awards technical event partner, Monster Productions and Events, offers a fully-integrated service for the staging, managing and execution of any kind of corporate or social event imaginable.

As a member of TPSA and SAACI, Monster Productions & Events has worked hard over the years to build a reputation for being reliable, imaginative and professional.

“We have been involved with gsport from the beginning, and it is truly heart-warming to see it grow from strength to strength, year on year,” says Monster Productions & Events CEO, Lloyd Wild. “We’ve enjoyed being part of that growth, watching the Awards become an event that people are noticing.

“Our planning for the 2013 SPAR gsport Awards started months in advance. With an integral part of the pre-production running smoothly, and working with the professional and organised team that gsport is, just makes it a pleasure to assist with the Awards.

“We offer a professional array of services,” says Wild. “We are able to source everything from cocktail bars, to Bedouin tents and corporate gifts; for any occasion, from Awards events, marketing exhibition stands, product road-shows and 21st parties to weddings!”

And with a core in-house team with years of experience in the industry, from hospitality to entertainment, gsport can attest that there is very little that Monster cannot source at a moment’s notice. Coupled with a highly trained operations team, means that – big or small – your event is in the right hands!

“If it’s out there, Monster Productions & Events will find it and deliver it to you, with style!” says Wild. Need a special kind of event? “Call us!” suggests Wild. “Believe it or not, we really do have some clever tricks up our sleeves!”

Monster Productions & Events was launched in 2003 with the vision of providing its clients with unique and fun event experiences – while being well-run and well-executed – with a mission to do things differently!

Monster Productions and Events is no stranger to demanding event requirements in South Africa, having supplied services for major clients including Varsity Cup Rugby, Varsity Sports, performing as home-game tech supplier for Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows.

“We hosted the Sports Industry Summit in October this year,” says Wild, “And we are proud to be the entertainment and technical suppliers to SA Breweries for rugby test matches and major games. We also work on a number of Cricket SA events.”

What are the latest event trends? “Simply put: LED! It seems to the be way of the future, and when used in conjunction with video mapping and other video presentation techniques, is indispensable to any event.

“On the eventing side of things, we are finding that the biggest trend is all about being more creative, with less budget, while offering more.”

On the benefits of a proper event technical solution, Wild says: “A stress-free and flawlessly run event will always make the client feel better! More happy clients means more business and referrals.”
