“She has qualified already, but this is another qualification competition for Tokyo.”

The 21-year-old previously qualified to compete in her first Olympics after a swimming a time of 2min 24.18sec in the 200m breaststroke at the 2019 African Championships in Morocco.

However, due to Covid-19, Corbett has had to wait for her chance to show the world what she is capable of achieving in the pool and will be aiming to get her name onto the medal winning team for South Africa in Tokyo.
