Coverage of African women’s sport has received a timely boost as gsport joins hands with leading Zimbabwean sports blogger, Tatenda Gondo, to amplify storytelling and increase its footprint on the continent.

Gondo, who runs the popular Sports Rifle 7/24 blog, has a wealth of knowledge and gsport Founder, Kass Naidoo, said she was thrilled to finally be working with this continental media powerhouse.

“Tatenda Gondo is someone we have long admired and have always intended to draw closer to her. With the growth of the Momentum powered gsport Newsroom and the signing of partners like Imperial and Telkom, it was time to boost our African women in sport content, and we are excited for what the future holds.”

Speaking about this development and the opportunity to work with the gsport team, Gondo said: “I am delighted to be joining the gsport Newsroom and looking forward to joining the colleagues who have the same goal as mine which is amplifying the coverage of women’s sport. I am grateful for the opportunity and excited about this new challenge with gsport.”
