Banyana Banyana vice-captain Refiloe Jane has extended her contract with Italian side, AC Milan in the Serie A.
The 28-year-old, who joined the team from Canberra United in September 2019, has become a key player for Italian giants with 15 appearances and two goals before the league was suspended in March due to the global Coronavirus pandemic.
As one of the senior players in the Banyana Banyana setup, Jane has over 100 caps and 12 goals for the national team.
She has represented her country on the biggest football stages, the 2012 London Olympics as well as the 2016 Summer Olympics being just a two of many. She was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana as well as playing at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, in what was Banyana Banyana’s debut in the global showpiece.
