South Africa’s winning form at the African Continental Road Championships continued on Day 2 in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday, 3 March 2021.
In the elite women’s race, the country took gold and silver in the time-trial race with Carla Oberholzer taking the victory ahead of compatriot Frances Janse van Rensburg.

17-year-old Chanté Olivier took gold in the junior women’s individual time-trial, covering 13.5km route in 23:23 to win.
The annual African Championships will conclude on Saturday, 6 March 2021.
