Momentum Proteas trio of Suné Luus, Chloé Tryon and Ayabonga Khaka have been announced to join the inaugural Women’s Caribbean Premier League tournament, which is set to start on the 30th of August 2022.
Trinbago Knight Riders announced the inclusion of Luus to their first ever women’s team.

The South African stand-in captain will don the red and black gear. Luus is a spin bowling all-rounder, with 17 fifties and four five wicket hauls at international level.
Meanwhile, all-rounder Tyron joins the Barbados Royals franchise, bringing her huge amount of experience to the team. And, seam bowler Ayabonga Khaka, signed for the Amazon Warriors.
