Team South Africa bagged a silver medal at the Fast 5 Netball World Series, after a 34-20 loss to Australia in the final in Christchurch, New Zealand on Sunday, 6 November 2022.
In their first match on Day 2, the South Africans secured a 38-37 victory over the hosts New Zealand, with Shannen Bartlett named Player of the Match.

The ladies in green went into the final after securing a 27-22 win over Uganda with Nicole Taljaard earning her Player of the Match award.

This was also South Africa’s best finish in the series since 2012 where they won bronze.
