Sylvia Dogah is making history as the first ever Ghanaian female kickboxer to participate in the Arab Boxing Grand Prix Championship from 21 April to 1 May 2021.
Dogah joins fellow Ghanaian kickboxers as they are set to take on other professional kickboxers from Africa, Russia and Middle East as the event will take place at the Olympic Village Novogorsk Sports Complex in Moscow, Russia.
Speaking on the historic feat, Member of Parliament for Mepe in North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, shared on his Facebook page, “Miss Dogah is determined to return home with laurels as she dreams of soon securing Ghana’s first Olympic medal in the sport.
”She has indeed made Ghana and North Tongu proud and that is why I am deeply honoured to be contributing to her sponsorship throughout her professional career,” he concluded.
