gsport is delighted to announce the ten South African individuals and teams unveiled as its October’s Newsmakers, who now join those already in consideration for national acclaim at gsport’s year-end gsport Annual List, early in December.

Team South Africa Win 17th African Artistic Gymnastics Championship

Team South Africa claim gold at the 17th African Artistic Gymnastics Championship, as the competition wrapped up at Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria. The victory means South Africa gain an automatic qualification for the World Championship in Antwerp, Belgium.

Momentum Proteas, Oval Invincibles and Perth Scorchers star all-rounder, Marizanne Kapp, has been named 2022 gsport Newsmaker of the Year at a vibrant media gathering in Johannesburg where the fourth gsport Annual List of Newsmakers was unveiled.
