South Africa lead the way for women at the 2010 World Cyber Games in Los Angeles, USA, when record-breaking eSports gamer, Michelle Marder became the first female globally to become a National Team Manager of an eSport team.

Rosanne Dumps Champ on Debut

East London’s Rosanne Hodge marked her debut on surfing’s 2007 ASP Women’s World Tour by defeating 2004 World Champ Sofia Mulanovich (Peru) to move into the third round of the US $80 000 (approx R565 000) Roxy Pro Gold Coast presented by Samsung in Australia on Tuesday.

A record entry of over 120 surfers has been received for the Roxy Wahine Cup presented by Peugeot and Samsung which starts today (December 1) and ends on Sunday (December 3) when the Roxy Wahine Cup winners will be crowned on the lawns of the Suncoast Beach in Durban.
