South Africa’s Softball women’s team has qualified for the Intercontinental Games, after winning the WBSC Africa Women Qualifiers that concluded at the National Diamond Stadium in Gaborone on Friday, 10 February 2023.
South Africa won all their games to claim first position, Botswana lost three games to take second place but have also qualify for the Games.
They played against Kenya and Lesotho, who finished in position third and fourth, respectively.
The Intercontinental Games will take place from 6-11 July 2023.
