Team SA Qualify for World Esports Championships in Romania

Team South Africa outclass Namibia in a IESF’s African Regional Qualifying match to progress to the 15th World Esports Championships in Romania.
In August 2023, a team of all-female CSGO esports players led by Karla Grewar will represent South Africa abroad.

The first all-female team from Mind Sports South Africa competed in the 10th World Esport Championships in Chinese Taipei in 2018.

To compete against some of the best teams in the world, the top three teams from the IEF’s Africa Regional Championships will represent Africa in Romania.
