South African football star, Thembi Kgatlana, continues to break barriers globally, signing a long-term deal with Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid.
Leading sports management agency, World in Motion, shared the announcement on Twitter, saying: “DONE DEAL
“South Africa star Thembi Kgatlana has joined Atletico de Madrid on a long-term deal.
“After a fine season at Eibar, Madrid awaits.
“Thanks to our partners at Bahia Futbol for their cooperation.”

Kgatlana’s debut season in the Spanish top-flight with SD Eibar in the 2020/21 campaign saw the striker become a household name as she became South Africa’s most prolific forward in Spain.
The 25-year-old also recently launched a book to inspire South Africans to follow their dreams.
