Tshwane Suns Win 2021 Basketball National League Title

Tshwane Suns beat Western Cape Mountaineers 61-58 to win the 2021 Basketball National League Women’s League at Wembley Stadium, on Saturday, 27 November 2021.

The first quarter of the game was evenly-matched with Suns leading with 14 points, while Mountaineers were on 11. 

However, heading into the half-time break, Suns capitalised to lead by 11 points with the score at 29-18.

Mountaineers tried to make a comeback in the latter stages of the encounter, but Suns proved to be too strong as they ended the match with a 61-58 scoreline.
