Defending champions the University of Johannesburg is unbeaten in two matches at the 18th edition of the USSA Football National Club Championships, underway at the University of the Western Cape in Bellville.
Vaal University of Technology, which has won the competition four times – racking up more USSA titles than any other learning institutions, suffered a setback on Monday when they drew with Cape Peninsular University of Technology, but made their winning ways felt on Tuesday with a comprehensive win over University of Fort Hare-Alice.
Action continues with four 8:30am starts as the pool-stage round of the tournament draws to a close, ahead of the knock-out and placing fixtures to be settled at the end of the day.
