Excitement is starting to mount up in the Free State province as the Netball World Cup Trophy is set to arrive at Bram Fischer Airport in Bloemfontein on Tuesday evening.
Today, 13 June 2023, marks the last day of the Trophy Tour in Mokopane, Limpopo before it will be officially handed over to the Free State province.
So far, the trophy has reached different cities and remote areas within other provinces including KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
The Trophy Tour has been a highlight for fans around country because not everyone will have the opportunity to see it in Cape Town where the 2023 Vitality Netball World Cup will be held.
For the Free State province, it will be no different as the itinerary shows that the Trophy Tour will not only head to the cities but also small towns.
Netball World Cup Trophy Tour in the Free State is planned as follows:
13 June: Bloemfontein (Arrival Bram Fischer Airport)
14 June: Koffiefontein (Dithlake Stadium)
14 June: Bethlehem (Goble Park Stadium)
15 June: Qwa Qwa (Bluegumbosch Multi Purpose)
16 June Youth Day: Bloemfontein (Dr Rantlai Molemela Stadium)
17 June 2023: Welkom (Momentum Sport Facility)
18 June 2023: Kroonstad (Dr Reginald Secondary School)
