South Africa’s Aimee Barrett-Theron will take charge of her first Rugby World Cup semi-final as announced by World Rugby on Tuesday, 1 November 2022.
Barett-Theron is joined by Ireland’s Joy Neville who will also feature in her first World Cup semi-final this weekend.
Barrett-Theron will referee the first semi-final between Canada and England at 16:30 local time on Saturday, 5 November. It will be the second time that she referees this fixture, having overseen England’s 49-12 victory over Canada in November 2017.
Neville will then officiate the second semi-final of the day when New Zealand face France.
On Saturday, 29 October, Barrett-Theron took charge of the quarter-final fixture between New Zealand and Wales.
