The Isuzu Bulls Daisies extended their unbeaten run in the 2026 Pick n Pay Women’s Super League 1 with a devastating 71-5 victory over the EP Queens, while DHL Western Province and the Sanlam Boland Dames claimed hard-fought away wins to stay in contention for the grand final, and the Sharks Women made it back-to-back victories in a full round of action at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria, on Saturday, 14 March, 2026.
The Daisies scored 40 unanswered second-half points as they ran in 11 tries against the EP Queens, with flanker Faith Tshauke the standout performer, crossing three times for a hat-trick. Wing Thobile Msizazwe grabbed a brace for the second consecutive weekend, while Sizophila Solontsi, Chuma Qawe, Camelitha Malone, Robyn Strydom, Jakkie Cilliers and Naima Hlatshwayo also crossed. The result moves the Daisies to 25 points from five matches and all but confirms Loftus Versfeld as the venue for the 4 April grand final.
DHL Western Province arrived in Bloemfontein and found themselves trailing at the interval, but a dominant second half delivered a 38-21 win over the Free State Women at Jim Fouche High School. Voice Ndou scored in the first half for WP, as did debutant wing Faith Gosling, but tries by Kamohele Makoele and Lonele Fuzile gave Free State a 14-12 lead at the break.
WP took control after the restart through Babalwa Latsha, a second try from Ndou, Logan Welman, and flyhalf Donelle Snyders, who was named Player of the Match after also kicking four conversions in her first outing at flyhalf this season. Nontobeko Mohuli crossed for a consolation try late on for the home side. Ndou’s brace took her to eight tries in five matches, the most of any player in the competition, and WP move to 21 points and second on the standings.

The Sanlam Boland Dames left it late to overcome the Golden Lions Women in Alberton, eventually winning 40-22 in a contest that was far tighter than the scoreline suggests. The Lions took the lead from the opening kick-off and were level at 12-12 at halftime, with Hlobisile Mbatha crossing twice and Siphumelele Mdlalose also dotting down for the hosts, lock Sharon Baloyi a handful throughout.
The Dames found their rhythm late, with Aseza Hele and Buhle Sonamzi doing the groundwork before Eloise Webb and Veroeshka Grain combined to send Rufaro Tagarira over for the decisive score. Nompumelelo Mathe, Sonamzi, Hele, Ropha Madyah and Grain all crossed, with Chloe Adams converting three times. The win keeps the Dames on 20 points and third on the log, one point behind WP.
The Sharks Women produced a composed 29-0 home win over the Border Ladies in Durban to make it two wins in a row after a difficult start to the season. Lindelwa Gwala crossed twice and Cebisa Gumede also grabbed a brace, with Ntobeko Mathupha completing the five-try display and Mary Zulu converting twice. The Border Ladies remain without a win or a log point after five rounds.
With only the final round of league fixtures remaining before the grand final on 4 April, the Isuzu Bulls Daisies sit clear at the summit on 25 points. DHL Western Province hold second place on 21 points, one ahead of the Sanlam Boland Dames on 20, meaning that the race for the remaining place in the showpiece goes down to the final weekend of league action on Saturday, 21 March.
