England are set to host a women’s test against the Momentum Proteas in the summer as part of the South Africans 2022 tour.
As reported by BBC Sport, the tour, which is still to be agreed, will be played in addition to T20 and One-Day International matches.
This news comes after widespread calls to have increased women’s Tests played on the global stage.
The South African side are currently hosting West Indies in a four-match ODI series at Imperial Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, as preparations continue ahead of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand in March.
More details regarding the tour will be reported in due course.
