A few months after announcing her as a new ambassador, Gilbert Netball has dropped a new ball alongside Ugandan superstar Mary Nuba Cholhok.
The ball is pink and blue with the distinct African print and the continent’s map as well as Cholhok’s signature. It celebrates her African heritage and the talent of the Ugandan that produced sensational performances at the 2023 Netball World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa.
Gilbert Netball tweeted: “New signature netball has just dropped! We have worked alongside ambassador Mary Cholhok to design her personal netball.”
In March this year, the Loughborough Lightning sharp shooter was announced as one of the ambassadors for the renowned accessories manufacturer.
Cholhok was incredibly influential as her side Lightning emerged victorious in the Netball Super League Grand Final against London Pulse on Sunday in June at the Copper Box Arena.
That performance cemented Cholhok’s position as the league’s top scorer, with an astounding tally of 908 goals in 19 appearances out of 20 matches throughout the season.
She’s back again for the 2024 season of the Netball Super League.
