The most celebrated athlete on the Momentum gsport Awards stage beat Griffioen 6-1, 6-7(4), 7-5 to clinch the victory.
Montjane will be eager to earn a final spot after falling short in the semi-final round of the Melbourne Open on Monday, 17 January 2022.
SA's @KGmontjane1 and Donald Ramphadi, both made semi-final exits from the Melbourne Open on Monday.
Montjane went down 6-2, 6-0 to women's top seed 🇳🇱 Diede de Groot, meanwhile, Ramphadi lost to 🇳🇱 Niels Vink 6-0, 7-6(5) in the quads.
