In 2019, Brand South Africa acknowledged gsport for the work it was doing to help show young women that they are capable of achieving great things, by showcasing role models from all communities.

This year, Brand South Africa will proudly present the Para Sport Star of the Year Award, previously won by sporting legends like Natalie du Toit and Kgothatso Montjane.
Brand South Africa Acting CEO, Sithembile Ntombela explained the decision for continued support of the gsport awards:

gsport will celebrate the 16th edition of the Momentum gsport Awards on 31 August 2021, where over 20 winners will be recognised and awarded for their achievements over the last year.
