2020 Momentum gsport Awards Ministerial Recognition of Excellence recipient, Noluthando Makalima, is raising funds to represent South Africa at the 2021 World Para Surfing Championship in California, USA.
Sport Gives Adaptive Surfer Noluthando Makalima Hope for a Better Future
The para sport star is set to leave home soil on the 2nd of December to be at in the USA for the competition which will take place from 6-11 December at Pismo Beach.
She currently needs a sum of R41 500 to cover all costs and has to date raised R5300.
The determined adaptive surfer is calling out on the public for financial assistance to fulfil her dream of competing in the final competition for the year.
“This means a lot I can’t even explain, and I can’t wait to raise the SA flag high with a medal around my neck! Yes, it’s not easy to get it, but with God and the faith that I have it will be easy.”
