Team South Africa continues to rise at the 2022 Commonwealth Games currently taking place in Birmingham, England.
Boxer Phiwokuhle Mnguni is guaranteed bronze medal at least for making it to the semifinals which will make her the first ever woman to clinch a boxing medal for South Africa at the Commonwealth Games.

The young boxer defeated Sri Lanka’s Sajeewani Coorey Muthuthanthri on Thursday afternoon to book her place in the Semifinals where she will face 2-time Commonwealth Silver medallist Michaela Walsh from Northern Ireland on Saturday 6 July 2022.
