Olympic 200m breaststroke champion and world record holder, Tatjana Schoenmaker, joined Discovery Vitality as ambassador to help encourage healthy living.
Discovery made the announcement on Wednesday, 20 October 2021, as they welcomed the 24-year-old to their programme, which features South African wheelchair tennis ace and 2021 Momentum gsport Awards double winner, Kgothatso Montjane.
Schoenmaker has received recognition after her historic feats at the Tokyo Olympic Games where she won silver in the 100m breaststroke and went on to win gold in world record time in the 200m event.
On return to South African in August, Schoenmaker was honoured at #gsport16 with a Ministerial Recognition of Excellence award by Minister Nathi Mthethwa.
