Canadian–Nigerian skeleton racer Simidele Adeagbo triumphed to victory in the latest round of the Women’s Monobob World Series in Winterberg, Germany.
Simidele who beame the first African woman to compete in Skeleton at the Olympic Games set a combined time of 2:01:00 in her two runs to go 0:52 seconds faster than Georgrta Popescu of Romanaia,who finished second. Whilst Ukraine Lidiia Hunko completed the podium finish.
Yesterday win is Simidele best finish in the World Series this year and she will be hoping to continue with her impressive performance heading into another round today.
