The South African Women’s Water Polo team qualify for the Women’s Beach Games Water Polo Finals in Bali, after earning bronze at the qualification tournament in Egypt on Monday, 16 May 2023.
The World Aquatics competition took place at Soma Bay from 12-15 May where teams battled it out to qualify for the final three spots for the finals in Bali from 5-12 August 2023.
The South African team consisted of Maxine Hannan, Tia Caswell, Kennel de Beer, Paige Tancrel, Jaime van den Bos, Jordan Laguma and Kierah van de Loos, all between the ages of 18-23.
