The Hollywoodbets Super League returns following a FIFA Internenational break as well as the May 29th National Elections in South Africa. Banyana Banyana players who were on national duty against Senegal in two friendlies are also set to make a return to their respective clubs. 

Before the brief hiatus, Royal AM Ladies resurgence continued with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over TUT Matsatsantsa Football Club. Sharol Ramaoka opened the scoring via an own goal to get Thwihli Thwahla on the score board. Nomvuyo Bhengu and Sinethemba Thwala found the back of the net to seal the win. 

In another result, the unstoppable Mamelodi Sundowns train thrashed cross-town rivals University of Pretoria 8-0. A result that showed the level of depth in that squad considering that the goals came from seven different players and a brace from Banyana international Nthabiseng Majiya. Those well-earned 3 points maintains Banyana Ba Styles dominance at the summit of the standings after 13 games played, with just 1 loss. 

As things stand the rest of the teams have played 12/13 fixtures apiece. UJ follows the defending champions on the log as they attempt to keep the Chloorkop side at bay. They are 3 points adrift the table toppers. UWC FC, with a game in hand, are third. 

Down at the bottom of the standings, Durban Ladies WFC, Lindelani Ladies and Thunderbirds all continue to struggle as they occupy 14, 15 and 16 place respectively. Thunderbird Ladies are yet to register a win this season. 

Looking ahead to week 15 of the HBSL, Durban Ladies vs City Lads and Thunderbird Ladies vs Royal AM kick start the come back on the 8th of June 2024 with kick-off slated for 13:00. 

At 15:00, there is a triple header of fixtures: at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, Copperbelts FC entertain First Touch Ladies with the visitors 12th on the standings, just one spot below the home side. 

Promoted Lindelani Ladies travel to University of Johannesburg as they work towards finding their rhythm in the top-flight league. In a battle for Capital City glory, TUT Matsatsantsa will battle Mamelodi Sundowns in a Tshwane Derby at TUT Pretoria Stadium. 

Super Sunday sees a battle of students between University of Western Cape and Eastern Cape debutants University of Fort Hare at UWC Stadium. UWC FC will be hoping to avenge their last result which was a defeat to Richmond United. A result that snapped a seven-game unbeaten run for Thinasonke Mbuli’s side. 

Also at 13:00, AmaTuks face JVW FC. The ladies from Bedfordview will be wary of wounded lionesses amaTuks side that come from that 8-0 humbling loss. 

TS Galaxy Queens who have been sensational following the return of coach Sizwe Sibiya will be aiming to continue the winning momentum when the clash against Richmond United. The Rockets occupy 4th place while their opponents are 5th.
