South African international football star, Thembi Kgatlana, has once again taken time out to give back to her community in Mohlakeng as she visited 12 surrounding schools on Tuesday, 21 January 2020.

Through her Thembi Kgatlana Foundation school kids received school shoes and sanitary towels to assist those in need as she revealed on her Twitter page.

The player has been actively giving back to her community and previously hosted an all women affair soccer tournament.

Kgatlana pointed out that she aims to give females not only from her area, but from South Africa the opportunity to make their dreams a reality when it was announced that she together with partners, LaLiga had decided to change the face of the tournament in 2019.

As the year has started on a positive note for Kgatlana who was listed in the first-ever Gsport Annual List of Newsmakers and was nominated for a CAF Women’s Footballer of the Year award, Kgatlana will be eager to continue dominating the football scene when she returns to her club, Beijing BG Phoenix F.C. in the Chinese Women’s Super League.
