Top Performers Continue Fine Form at CSA U16 Week

Gauteng continue winning form with a comfortable 130-run triumph over Boland on Day 2 of the CSA Girls U16 Week in Gqeberha.

On form Diara Ramlaan scored 27, while Robyn Kamerman top scored with 32 runs for the winning side.

Border picked up their first win of the tournament against KZN Inland, claiming victory by 10 wickets. Ziyakhanya Mtshaulana was the top scorer with 16 off 53 balls and Akhile Mdlalane 11 (52), both unbeaten.

Thelma Makhubela bagged 4-10 in 3.5 overs as Easterns restricted Mpumalanga to 50 all out after 18.5 overs. Easterns were able to chase the score, finishing on 51/3 in 14.2 overs. Tamzyn Hartman picked up where she left off on Day 1, taking 3 wickets with just 4 runs conceded.

Kei made it 2 in 2, with a 6 wicket win over SWD. Both Elethu Sgemana and Nontokozo Mchizwa finished with bowling figures of 3-6.
