South African women’s football returns to the spotlight this weekend as the Hollywoodbets Super League stages the second festival of its bold new Amplified era, with eight matches scheduled across the Super Era and Super Rise streams.
Every club has played just once, 26 goals have already flowed, and three teams sit level on three points at the top of each stream, so the early title picture could shift sharply when the action gets under way at Tuks Stadium in Pretoria on Friday, 19 June 2026.
The festival gathers all eight fixtures into a single three-day window, and the organisers have confirmed free entrance for spectators throughout the weekend, with live DJs and on-site entertainment staged alongside the football. Gates open at 12h00 on Friday and at 8am on Saturday and Sunday.
The Super Era stream serves up the weekend’s marquee fixture on Friday at 18h00, when second-placed University of Pretoria host log leaders and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies in an all-Tshwane showdown on home turf.

Both sides opened with commanding clean-sheet victories, Sundowns sweeping aside Diepkloof Ladies 6-0 and Pretoria winning 3-0 away to Stellenbosch, and with both on maximum points it is goal difference alone that keeps Sundowns top. The winner will take firm early control of the stream.
The Super Era action begins three hours earlier, at 15h00 on Friday, when sixth-placed Richmond United and eighth-placed Diepkloof Ladies meet in search of a first point of the season. Both arrive stinging from opening defeats, Richmond beaten 3-1 by Copperbelt Ladies and Diepkloof on the wrong end of that 6-0 result against Sundowns, making this a crucial chance for either side to get up and running.

Saturday morning brings a Western Cape derby at 09h00, with fifth-placed UWC facing seventh-placed Stellenbosch. UWC will be eager to convert their hard-earned 2-2 draw against TS Galaxy Queens into three points, while Stellenbosch look to recover from their opening loss and claim their first result of the campaign.
The Super Era programme then closes on Sunday at 15h00, as fourth-placed TS Galaxy Queens host third-placed Copperbelt Ladies, the only side outside the top two to open with a win, in a meeting of contrasting starts.

The Super Rise stream is every bit as tightly contested. Log leaders JVW FC, who launched their campaign with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Ramatlaohle Ladies and head the stream on goal difference, travel to face seventh-placed City Lads on Saturday at 18h00, with the hosts determined to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to TUT.
Earlier that afternoon, at 15h00, fifth-placed First Touch take on second-placed TUT, who began with a polished 2-0 win over City Lads while First Touch ground out a goalless draw with University of Fort Hare to share the points.

Sunday completes the Super Rise card with two contests. At 09h00, sixth-placed Ezemvelo and eighth-placed Ramatlaohle Ladies both chase a maiden point after opening losses, a fixture that could lift either side off the foot of the table.
Then at 12h00, fourth-placed University of Fort Hare host third-placed University of Johannesburg in an all-university clash, with Johannesburg arriving on the back of a 2-0 win over Ezemvelo and Fort Hare encouraged by the resilience that earned them a clean sheet on the opening weekend.
