South African rising tennis star, Zoë Kruger, delivered a strong performance to win her maiden ITF Pro Tennis title at the TUKS International event on Sunday, 3 October 2021.

The 19-year-old wild card defeated Dutch fifth seed Suzan Lamens 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 to seal the title.

The 19-year-old beat Dutch fifth seed, Suzan Lamens 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 in her first final on home soil to clinch top honours.
Kruger, who was a wildcard entrant, knocked out Russian fourth seed, Amina Anshba, 6-1, 6-4, in the semi-final round on Saturday.

The teen has enjoyed a breakthrough this year in her career in the senior ranks, reaching the final of the ITF World Tennis tour Turkey and was afforded the opportunity to enter the Ilana Kloss International, an ITF $25 000 World Tour event, which took place at the North-West University Potchefstroom Campus, as a wildcard.
The recent growth in her performances is paving the way for a bright future for the South African.
