Carina Horn Completes Successful Return at ASA Grand Prix 3

South African sprinter, Carina Horn, made a successful return to the track, while Caster Semenya cruised to victory in the 2,000m event at the Athletics South Africa Grand Prix 3 event, at the NWU McArthur Stadium in Potchefstroom on Wednesday, 6 April 2022.

Horn, who had been out of action since 2019, made a fine return to cross the finish line in a time of 11.50.

Meanwhile, double Olympic champion, Semenya continued her fine form to win the 2000m race after she set a Personal Best time in the 3 000m race a few weeks back in Cape Town.

Caster Semenya Sets PB at ASA Athletics Grand Prix

Semenya will high on confidence as she heads into the national championships, where she will tackle the 5 000m and hope to qualify for the world championships.
