KZN Raiders overcame an early scare against KZN Inland to win 6–1. After conceding in the opening minute, the hosts responded emphatically in the second half to take control of the match.

In Pool B, Southern Gauteng began their quest for a first title since 2019 with a convincing 6–1 win over SG Witsies, Amber Fairon producing a second-half hat-trick.

Northerns Blues delivered the most dominant performance of the day, overpowering Mpumalanga 14–0 with multiple hat-tricks and braces in a ruthless display.

Northerns Daisies started their Women’s Pool B campaign securing a solid 5–0 win over KZN Inland B to open their campaign, while the KZN Mynahs delivered one of the standout scorelines of the day, defeating Mpumalanga B 13–0 in a commanding performance featuring multiple four-goal hauls.

With several statement wins, standout individual performances, and a dramatic comeback already shaping the narrative, Day One has set the tone for what promises to be a fiercely contested IPT.

Further action continues on Thursday as teams battle for semi-final positioning across all sections.
