DHL WP Top Perform at U18 SA Rugby Girls Week

DHL Western Province claimed bragging rights at the U18 SA Rugby Girls Week after beating the Sharks in their final match at HT Pelatona Projects Stadium in Welkom on Thursday, 30 June 2022.

The Western Cape side closed the tournament securing a 61-0 victory over the girls from Durban.

WP scored a total of nine tries on the day with their no.8 Logan Welman finishing as top try scorer grabbing a total of five tries throughout the tournament.

SWD Eagirls, Limpopo Blue Bulls and Mastercard Golden Lions were also outstanding throughout the week, winning all their matches.

SWD Eagirls’ Willicia Piterse walked away as top point scorer with 28 points.
